TCS slams Flipkart for copying their recruitment strategy: Says only TCS has the right to delay joining letter

Bengaluru. The deferment of joining date from June to December of recruited candidates from IIM Ahmedabad by Flipkart has forced TCS to poke its nose in the matter.

TCS, which is well known for testing the patience of engineering graduates by recruiting them in campus placement and not giving them the date of joining till their hair start turning white, has sued Flipkart for plagiarizing its recruitment policy.

HR of the company, who himself got his joining letter two years after completing his graduation, said, “See, we (do not) care about the future of the candidates. Joining date gets extended not due to our lethargic nature but as per the project requirements. The ones who are already sitting on benches have to be moved to some projects so that benches can be made available to the new joinees where they can enjoy their honeymoon period for at least a year”.

“We expect candidates to prepare for CAT in the meanwhile, which otherwise they would do while warming benches that would result in more employee cost to the company without generating any revenue”, added the HR when asked why they torture newly qualified engineers so much by deferring their offer letter.

We tried to contact Flipkart for the allegations made against them by TCS but their team was busy marking each low-priced and heavy-discounted product as “Out of Stock” for its upcoming big-billion day and couldn’t answer our call.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol has come to the support of recruits. He has asked Flipkart to stop giving them Tareekh pe Tareekh and take them on board soon.
