New Delhi. India’s famous Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev had to be supplied Oxygen through a cylinder in the wee hours of Monday after he attempted Pranayama, a deep breathing exercise, in a park in Delhi. The Yoga guru had come to Delhi to promote his new Patanjali products and had a busy day planned ahead of him but all appointments had to be cancelled after Baba Ramdev began his day with his usual Yoga exercises.

“Guruji wakes up everyday at 4 and does deep breathing for an hour. He started with the same routine, hopeful of cleaning Delhi’s air with his own lungs, but within a few seconds he was lying down on the floor, twisting his body and gasping for air. At first, we thought it was a new aasana that guruji had invented but after a few minutes when his eyes starting popping out, we realized that there was something wrong”, said Pawan Singh, a follower of Baba Ramdev.

Everyone around Baba Ramdev jumped into action, entangling his legs and making sure he was back to normal. To ensure his safety, doctors advised to give Baba Ramdev an Oxygen cylinder during his stay in Delhi, giving the Yoga guru a new business idea for Patanjali.

Baba Ramdev has now advised everyone in Delhi to keep their breaths as short as possible and never try Pranayama.
