Bandookacharyas abound in UP

03, Oct 2017 By shakeel ahmad

KANPUR: The latest details issued by the Home Ministry showed that the number of Bandookacharyas in Uttar Pradesh is increasing fast by reaching the uppermost level. About 13 lakh licensed gun holders come up to this highly populated province. But what has dismayed positively the gun-totters is no information about the Laithachrayas in the country?  Is it not discriminatory in its own manner? After all, the actual comparison between the two blasters is feasible only after availability of any authentic, reliable or genuine data.

The figures given by the reliable sources amply indicate of the supremacy of the state of Uttar Pradesh in the matter of keeping approved arms. Most of the licenses were issued for the personal safety reasons. In about a population of twenty crores people the figure seems not much higher but the uneasiness is that the expansion of the education has no firm impact on this state’s population. Had it been persisted so, the number of the licensed gun possessors would not have touched the highest mark in the whole of the country.

The similar account tells us Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab stand on the second and third position respectively. According to the figure issued on December 31, 2016, as many as 33, 69,444 gun licenses were issued in the country. There are 12, 77,914 license holders in Uttar Pradesh with a population of 19, 98, 12,341 according to the last Census. When have known it amply well that the gun culture is never helpful for the human being, there is no use of worshipping guns. It could be named more than a knock at the critical moment of alarming problem. We always endure a great degree of exertion in our life. It should not finish in the exertion of walking violently in the darkness. There is need to think of sages stressing upon the peaceful living.
