Sri Lanka objects to Rahul Gandhi's Kumbhakaran Lift Yojna gaffe

10, Dec 2018 By Special Correspondent

Colombo, 5 December, 2018 07:30 IST. In a major blow to Modi Government’s foreign policy, Sri Lanka has heavily objected to Rahul Gandhi’s gaffe about Kumbhakaran Lift Yojana when he was addressing a rally in Rajasthan and probably talking about achievements of ex-CM Gehlot.

"They asked me to close my eyes like this", said Rahul Gandhi
“Rahul Gandhi pretending to be Kumbhakarna to impress Sri Lanka”

While strongly objecting to the gaffe, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has said that only PM Rajapaksha has right to use Kumbhakaran’s name.

Objecting to this objection, ex-PM Mr. Wickremesinghe said that only he can object to the gaffe and not President Sirisena. He also threated to go to Supreme Court to maintain his exclusive right to object to anything that has any historic connection with Sri Lanka e.g. Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile ex-PM of India H.D.Devegowda has criticised all of them for politicising the issue and highlighted the need to walk (or sleep) on the path shown by Kumbhakaran.

We have also learned from our confidential sources that Yogi Adityanath is planning to change the name of Aligarh to Aryagarh. This information is completely irrelevant for this news but my boss has told me to mention it everywhere since it is a trending topic.
