“You should ashamed of completing work before deadlines. This is not how government works”, Akhilesh Yadav scolding PWD officials.

Lucknow: Top PWD officials were summoned today by ministry after completing crores of road project months before the next election. Next assembly will be held tentatively in mid 2017 and Samajwadi Party, which is currently ruling, had planned to complete and inaugurate this biggest road project few months before the election to fetch votes.

PWD minister while speaking to media said, “This is severe negligence committed by officers and we can’t overlook it, so we’ve summoned respective officials with written explanation over this issue. It was a dream of CM Akhilesh Yadav to inaugurate this project with fabulous speech on development few months before election to attract voters. But now they’ve ruined it.”

One PWD official interacted with media and said, “Its the biggest mistake of not just me but of whole department, we all are ashamed of it. We’ve always delayed projects for months and years and got appreciated, but this is is the first time we completed any project early. And I will promise to ministry that this mistake won’t happen again”.
