Serena celebrates motherliness

03, Sep 2017 By shakeel ahmad

KANPUR: How can it at this time be predicted Serena’s baby girl’s future? When renowned Williams’ sisters are capably achieving marvellous fame in the tennis world, the baby’s destiny can take its own course. Serena Williams has fulfilled her dream of motherhood by giving birth to her girl child. This is certainly her magnificent knock outside the tennis court. Her return to the game seems not imminent as no international woman player had made her return to that above thirties’ age. Perhaps, it was due to this reason the world number three Garbine Muguruza said that Serena’s little daughter might not play tennis.

However, this special view gets crashed down with Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters returning at the court at 26 years and winning three grand slam titles afterwards. Further, two different Australian players Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Margaret Court also attained the big laurels of winning the grand slam titles after having children. The age factor is the main thing creating uncertainty for the return of the world’s highest paid tennis player on the court. It was during her two-month old pregnancy Serena won her 23rd grand slam Australian singles title. This remained one short of the all-time record held by Margaret Court.

The tennis tradition is another tradition altogether. Her decision to defend the Australian title next year may be another aim altogether to those of the several players who marked out the alchemy of playing experience with tints of the winning quality. She is just now not any ordinary mother as to making her life elegant in the direction of dear life. The resolute spirit which pushes her boat out appears to that of the two happy persons drinking wine together and talking through the night and pouring light purple or pale purple wine from a never-ending bottle.
