Williams' Wimbledon wish wrecked

KANPUR: Methodological perfection in Spain’s Garbine Muguruza’s tennis game was seen in this year’s Wimbledon ladies’ single title.  She stayed firmly on winning the title by excelling over Venus Williams. If her sister Serena Williams was absent from the match, she was also deprived of the title. This was the fourteenth time in the past 18 years that there had been at least one Williams in the final. Her flaws distanced her from the title relatively.  It was not only a basic flash of the trouncing in the full game. But it has also been established that this year was quite unlucky for necessary triumph.

For the prominent Wimbledon title, she competed at the lawn tennis court as the older player like Navratilova. Her wish of winning the sixth time dashed though she remained champion in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007 and 2008. There was a genuine artistic opportunity for the Spanish player in her victory of a solemn and self- determined resolve. Feeling for fabulous fame being her primary and very last passion got mingled with a thin flame of effective play. She earned a strong flame of pleasure from this decisive status.

However, with all these well-timed chances for securing points and games, she served her final service which ultimately brought result only to show how out of form was Venus for such unenthusiastic defeat, how fitted was Muguruza for grabbing a title parallel to Venus at the women’s single match at Wimbledon. It is certainly too prestigious accomplishment for her. Her finer deliveries in the course of the game compelled American Venus Williams for very naive shots. This senior player’s indispensable outstanding ability failed to display a superior example in the game. Her desperations were lost in the Spanish triumph. She lastly licked the taste of defeat at the grass court. Muguruza attained Wimbledon credit after French Open title in 2016.
